  3. The first time I tried making homemade pizza dough, it was closer to concrete than dough!!

  4. I once tried to broil salmon in a glass dish and well... BIG NO NO! As soon as I pulled the dish from the oven, it exploded. Glass everywhere. We went out for pizza instead. Whomp. Whomp.

  5. Well ... my husband and I had decided to have some newer friends over for dinner and I thought i'd try a new recipe. Chicken Caprese, it seemed easy enough! Unfortunatly, I underestimated my subpar cooking skills. We came out with extremely dry chicken, not enough sauce, and my guests didn't like tomatoes.

  8. I ALWAYS have such a hard time making baked chicken, it seems like if I want it to come even close to being baked it takes like 5 hours and then it still doesn't turn out!

Awesome giveaway! I've been wanting a juicer for ever but my husband won't let me spend the money on one...

  9. I have tried and tried to make an Italian crock pot chicken and I always make it to salty. Three times already I have failed it. Might not add the bouillon cubs this time. Thanks for the giveaway.

  10. Recently I tried my first attempt at a mole to serve with chicken - to put it simply, it was AWFUL!

  11. I've definitely screwed up a meal or two. I recently tried to make a new sauce for the tortellini and nothing mixed right! I ended up with a chunky yet runny disaster.

  12. My husband's birthday was a week after my first born's. We had people over even though I was post-partum and I was trying to do it all and make a cake for him. After it was baked, I realized I forgot to put the eggs in. OOPS!

  13. A few nights ago I attempted Fettuccine Alfredo. I over cooked the pasta, and burnt the chicken... Epic FAIL! It was pretty terrible and ended up in the trash.

  14. Oh goodness, sadly I can think of several occasions when I was newly married and new to the kitchen, but the one that takes the cake was making a family recipe for chicken parmesean. The breading wouldn't stay on the chicken, it was greasy, and basically tasteless.

Love this giveaway! I'm expecting baby no. 2 and cooked veggies have been a little hard for me to swallow lately. This would be an awesome way to get some good nutrients in for both myself & new baby, my hubs, and our 20 month old little girl!

  16. My big fail was trying to do the Dr Oz detox cleanse. My lunch smoothie ended up with extra fiber when I took a chunk out of the wooden spoon I was using to get the green stirred. Glad I forgot the flaxseed for that one!

  18. I'm a pretty okay cook and I've been baking since I could reach the counter standing on a chair. I grew up in Scandinavia where cooking and baking was very much just a part of every day life. However there's no mexican food.. When my husband and I were still just dating we went to dinner at my in laws for burritos. Everyone wanted me to go first, but I didn't really have clue what went where so I just put a little scoop of everything on my plate and grabbed the tortilla on the side.. which I by the way to this day still accidentally refer to as pancakes. Also the Magic Bullet.. had to have it. I don't think a single one of the recipes I tried looked anything like they did on TVshop. I was so disappointed! fingers crossed .. this would be awesome to win :)

  19. I came across your blog on Instagram - amazing giveaway! Thank you for the chance to win! My husband and I recently had the brilliant idea to clean out all the smaller pieces of meat and bone from the freezer we'd been saving for roasts and make a huge batch of soup. Needless to say, after pouring in all of our frozen veggies in the final hour, we forgot to stir for a good while and... Ugh. A big, big waste. We tried to salvage it and pretend it just had a nice "smoked" flavor, but it was too bad to stomach!

  20. Made my normally great mac n cheese BUT accidentally dumped too much Kosher Salt into the boiling water (like way too much). When making the cheese sauce, the cheese kept clumping and then I decided to substitute almond meal for the reg flour (never do this) which ended up being one big sticky ball of MESS. The entire thing was a bust :).
